Advanced Product Quality Planning

APQP is the recognised and structured process that controls the necessary steps to ensure an excellent product launch.  It is used throughout the Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo & Mazda environment to enable launch teams and their customers to track progress and evaluate the quality of the overall launch objectives. It provides a common format thus allowing suppliers, launch teams and customers to monitor all launch measurables.

  •  To understand the implications and complexities of    programme timings
  •  To explain the application of the Quality of Event forms
  •  To explain how to use the G/Y/R  Ratings
  •  To outline the actions required when Yellow or Red conditions are encountered

Awareness APQP

 
A 1 day awareness session providing an introduction to the APQP process. The
delegates will understand the process and be able to establish what additional
deployment assistance is required to support the correct and beneficial
deployment of the APQP approach. Crisis management will be minimised and
costs will be potentially reduced.

Training Course - APQP Status Reporting

 
On completion the attendee will be able to :
  •  Understand how to use the APQP Status Report as a tracking tool.
  •  Appreciate the importance of programme timings.
  •  Understand how the Quality of event forms are used.
  •  What the purpose of the Risk Assessment is.
  •  How to use the R/Y/G Rating system
